Default Horsepower

Does anyone have a dyno on a 03-04 g35 coupe with the following mods, plenium with 5/16" spacer, z tube with pop charger, fast intentions intimidator exhaust with resonated test pipes and a tuned utec? Gains to the wheels should be 15 with plenium, spacer and intake, 19 with exhaust and say around 6 with a tuned utec, so a total around 40-50 horsepower? does this seem right? And has anyone put 4.01 gears in their g35 coupe?

the chances are slim someone has those exact mods dynoed. Maybe someone will have similar mods and can get you a ballpark figure. but lets be realistic here...

I'd give you +30 hp to the rear wheels with those mods.

I heard getting pulleys make the 5AT feel better at shifting. Don't take my word for it though.

It has been done.

Underdrive pulleys are on the engine and may reduce hp robbing accessory drag, but I've never read about it helping the transmission shift. Valve bodies improve tranny shifts.

Quick observation.

You cannot just add on parts and say this is good for X hp and that for Y hp, especially for the VQ engine, rather you need to take them all together. That being said, I'd go along with Gilley's estimation on hp.

Eh personal opinion if auto's suck i like them for where i live, 30 horsepower seems about right, i don't think pulleys wouldn't do sh*t, so has nobody done gears? do they even make them for the auto g35?

You can change the rear differential gears. You won't gain hp, but you'll gain mechanical advantage.

I guarantee you someone has done gears for either the G or the Z. Maybe not here, but someone on Driver or my350z has done it.

I drive an auto. I drive it because I like to manipulate myself while driving. I use BOTH hands.
