Use canola oil. Deep fry.

j/k Most people speak highly of Mobil 1.

I agree on oil but your statement on filters does not make much sense. There was a study, or experiemnt shall I say, done on all brand filters for my previous Z and it turns out that the stock filter is the best way to go. I will try to find the link. I realize G filter is small, but stay witht the OEM filter and you can't go wrong. One less thing to worry about.

I use Mobil 1 5w30 but I'm changing to Mobil 1 0w40 since I have a Vortech.

The OEM filter is not bad, but as long as you stay away from Fram, I think you will be fine.

You can get the Nissan oil filter for the Z. It's the same. I use the slightly longer filter for the 3.5 liter Maxima. I figure its a little more filter material.

Shoot, whats wrong with Fram? Do you just trust oem more or do you have an actual reason why fram is no good? I always thought they were one of the more reliable filters out there...
