Default Seen the g37!!! NOT IMPRESSED!!!

Went to the dealers yesterday. Seen it. Looks really bad. The rear looks plain ugly. The sticking out rear lights, that bubbly rear bumper and the trunk. And what the HELL is wrong with that chrome piece!!!! From the side the car looks allright and the front looks really good. I liked the head lights. But really didn't like the front spoiler.
All in all it thought it was a 6/10 didnt drie it yet, so cant talk about performance.

Anyone thought the same as me?

I saw it this weekend. I love the interior, but the extrior looks like a Toyota Solara. I don't like it.

Cool

I don't like it either, too generic styling, I actually like the Altima coupe better if you can believe it!

Got rid of my Altima sedan, it was a 3.5 and the best car I ever owned. Now my son has it. I looked at the Altima Coupe before pulling the trigger on my 04 Coupe.

It was really nice but only in the decked out 3.5 with leather. The base model was eh.

The Altima has CVT transmission. I have one on the Murano and it's been great. The problem comes in if it ever fails out of warranty. Nobody is yet qualified to repair a CVT in the USA. If you have a failure, you're spending 6800 bucks! YIKES!!

Of course you can get the Altima with a manual and not have that worry. The other concern is FWD instead of RWD.

The biggest concern for me was sticker shock of 32K, that was the price on the Altima coupe I looked at over at Nissan. I said if I'm spending 32K, I'm going for a 350Z with RWD.

After that I left and got my G-35 coupe.

my girl also says the new g37 looks like the Toyotal Solara... weird... to me it looks nothing like it lol.. your like the 5th person that said that.. hah

but yea, the new g37s interior is alright, nothing SPECTACULAR, engine is alright (nothing extremely FAST), other than that... rear tail lights are garbage.. i hate how it points upwards.. so ugly.. the car is just to damn bubbley!...

it's not growing on me =\.. there was a pic on one of the g37 forums and the guy put some enkei rims ...black/black.. still didn't make the car look ne better IMO

(don't hate me g37 drivers )

Strange front end view, fat and overly round rear, nice side view. Overall, no improvement over original.

Drive by one the other day as the driver was out for a test drive and he gave me a thumbs up and gave him a thumbs down. LOL! J/K.

It is OK but I still like the 35 better. The parts about the 37 that i do not like: the way the hood stops short of the front grill, do not like that gap. Back end looks too short and stumpy, the chrome spoiler is ugly, howver, the bigger wing is OK, it looks too luxurious as opposed to ours looks sportier. If I could trade the interior, the paddle shifters and the new HP increase, that would be perfect.

It seems pretty cool to me, i like the way my 35 looks better though. I'd trade my G for one just to have a brand new car instead of an 04 tho.

Hey come on

The G37 exterior look’s fine, DAMN look to the engine I was really shocked when I compare it with the Porsche Cayman look to the performance:

Porsche Performance

245 hp @ 6,500 rpm
0-60 mph in 5.8 s
Top Track Speed: 160 mph
MSRP

$ 49 400.00

Infiniti Performance

V6 Horsepower: 330 hp
Max Horsepower: 7000 rpm
0-60 mph in 5.5 s
Torque: 270 ft-lbs.
Max Torque: 5200 rpm
MSRP
$ 35 500.00

SO do you think something else ………….

True, but Porsche has more "brand" appeal than Infiniti.

+1, I'm in the same boat as you and have been inquiring from surrounding dealers here in Central Texas. Things are pretty much slim pickin's if you want a new '07 6mt w/Premium+Nav though.
