Question MotorDyne spacer question

I've searched this site, but I can't find the answer; what's the difference between all the MotorDyne spacers (in terms of sound, hp, and $$$)? They've got the basic plenum spacer, the iso thermal spacer, the copper iso thermal spacer, and the MREV 2 manifold. I know the difference between 1/2 and 5/8 inch spacers, but not the difference between those mentioned above. Also, are these spacers better than other spacers? If so, is the extra $$$ worth it? Thanks.

Iso-thermal is an upgraded gasket if I remember correctly and the copper upgrade is a copper throtle body upgrade that helps keep the throttle body from sticking in very cold climates. Basically little extras with each upgrade.

The mrev-2 is the lower collector modified for rev-up engines (05+) to allow better air flow - basically some metal shaved off for better air flow.

All the spacers from motordyne should be the same, the upgrades are just extras to help with heat/cold issues...email Tony @ Motordyne - he's awesome to deal with.

BG35 is correct. The isothermal kit also comes with a colloant shut off valve to keep hot coolant from entering he throttle body. Turn it off in summer and turn it back on in the winter. I live in Florida and leave it turned off all year since it rarely gets below freezing.

Yea the Iso Spacer's upgraded gasket keeps our plenum much cooler while driving. If you are planning on geting the iso thermal spaer you should check out how hot the plenum gets after driving it. Then once you put the spacer and gasket on put your hand on the plenum after driving the car. BIG difference in temperature.
