Alarm Problem

Hey Everyone I Am Having Problem With My 04g35 Coup. When I Press The Lock Button On The Alarm Pad The Horn Keep Going Off. The Only Way I Can Stop It Is By Putting The Key In The Igontion. I Can't Lock The Car From The Alarm Pad Only From The Door. Can Someone Help Please.

It sounds like the alarm circut is not being completed. It could be something as simple as one of your doors being slightly ajar. The first thing I would check is all of the doors, trunk and hood to make sure they are closed tightly. Do you have any interior lights that stay on when you shut your doors or trunk (to check the trunk drop your back seat and take a peek in)? You could possibly have a sensor, door plunger, or hood plunger that is malfunctioning.
Those are prob the easiest things to check yourself if you have no real electrical experience. Other things could be frayed door wires or even a bad brain in the alarm itself.

unless it's the actual alarm going off (the constant beeping after you press lock), then it is probably sensing something wrong, like zero said, a door open or the trunk popped. my friend's explorer did that, he had to replace some relay that kept showing the back glass as popped open when it wasn't.
