I am coming up on mine and wondering if yall do your 30,000 mile service and what is involved (what do they do) and what have yall paid for it? Thanks for the help.
They don't do much. They just do the basic oil & filter change, change your air cleaner filter if needed, and just inspect your evap & fuel lines. I don't how much the basic 30k mile service is since I needed to get new rotors & pads when I had mine done.

These services are usually no more than a money maker for the dealers. I would suggest just changing your oil and check your air filter which gets dirty pretty often. I have not done any of these services in almost 4 years and have no issues. I also have just 21,000 miles.
yeah I know they cost around 650 bucks to do because I am due for one also. They gave me a whole list of crap that they do for it but it seems like they are mostly routine maintenance things...obviously. Go by the dealer and get them to give you a brochure. Im not sure if im going to get mine or not. Its a lot of cash to spend on it.
Buy mobile 1 @ walmart for $24. and change the oil yourself w/ filters from infinity. Put in a K&N air filter and clean it every 20k . I had a 4 wheel alignment after putting on bridgestone potenza reo50a,s a the local nissan dealer and the basically went over the whole suspension for free. If your state has state inspection like we do in ME. They lift the car and check ball joints tie rods ... and it cost $12.50. Forget the 30k raping @ infinity!Just do the routine maintenance yourself if you can. Buy the in cabin microfilter and follow the direction to install it if you have a lot of dust? pollen issues and run your ac a lot. Good Luck!

Reason: add info
I appreciate the info. i called infiniti and you are right not much more than an oil change but they want to charge $429. I do my own maintenance (change oil, brake pads etc) every since I found my air filter crammed and wrinkle in my G after picking it up from the dealer.
Purolator makes cabin filters for our cars too. I find them at the local auto parts store for about $12.
Two more things you might want to consider at 30K is tranny drain and rear differential drain.
Make sure you get a flush, not just a drain. Otherwise you will leave a handfull of qts of tranny fluid in the torque converter that will get mixed up with the new fluid.

Mine includes flushing as well; totalling about $600, I believe. One thing I'm considering is resale value, so the car can have all recommended maintenance records.
