Default How to make it faster

Hello, I searched this forum for answer but cudnt find any and as well as g35driver.com. My question is, what things can you do to a g35 coupe to make it faster. Obviously I want smart answers unlike that one guy who stripped his floors mats.

Anyways please post the cost of the mod and the overall improvement it gives the car

Thanks!

Well I came to a conclusion. I think im gonna get the 05 or 06 or 07 g35 instead of the 08.

There are a few reasons
First off, the current body style is the one I fell in love with, after seeing the sketches of the 08 I think the back looks horrible.
Secondly:Im guessing that if I wait till june then the prices on a used 05 06 or 07 will drop significantly. Im talking about getting a new one for hopefully 30k.
Lastly: Although the new G35 is gonna be 30 hp more, why not use the 5k you saved when getting a 07 and mod the shit out of the car.

Im no expert on modding so I would like to know what is worth the money and what hp I can get the car up to. I although no that Hp is not everything, so any feedback from you guys would be awesome

For $5 grand I would boost it for sure...it'll cost around 5-6 grand and you could expect around 430+ whp. Talk to superdude about TT's because he went through that, I wouldn't take any financial advice from him though

Haha I rather not spend all 5k...Do you know how much faster it will be in terms on 0-60? I think i might kill myself considering im only 17. I have heard lots about spacers and y tubes and z tubes. What are those?

Spacer increases the volume of your intake plenum, z tube is an intake tube from a 350z (adds minimal horsepower, some noise). All in all you won't get a whole helluva lot from bolt ons but you could potentially be in the low 5's for 0-60 though I doubt you will break 4's unless you boost or upgrade cams/bore/etc
