You need a navigation disc. I can get you a copy of the latest DVD v6.5 and the firmware update CD needed to run v6.5 for $25 shipped. The dealer will charge you $190 for this.

This goes for anyone else in need of the latest map DVD - just PM me.

What about for a 2003? Can you get the DVD and firmware for that?

Does they layout on the screen look different then lets say the '05 dvd? Or is it the same? Do they have an '07 out yet. I guess if i really want it i can get the copy through you?

Not totally sure what you're asking, but for 05 and older the screen is slightly different ie showing 4 or 6 lane highways better etc., but still the same basic black/white format. 06 and newer nav units I understand have a different interface which is why they require v7.x DVD's. I only have v6.5.

Im wanting to know if the lay out has any different colors, or a different look? Maybe 3d? or does it still look like the basic '05 dvd?

Same basic thing, maybe a few different colors in terms of roads/hwys. The main part is that it has updated roads etc. due to recent construction. There may also be a different algorithm for finding routes since it comes with a firmware CD. This CD you install once and never need again. Not totally sure what it does but is required to run v6.5.
