Default Changing Spark Plugs

I have an 03 G35 coupe and will have 90K miles soon. While I could wait till I change my spark plugs, I would like to do it now. The dealership gave me a price of $395.00 to just change the plugs. I like doing a lot of things myself. Has anyone changed their spark plugs. And if so was this something that is difficult?

Thanks

Cool

Holy cow!

I wish you were closer.....I'd change your plugs for life for $395.00......!

I just changed mine. Got one step colder Irridium off ebay for around $40.00/set.

It is very simple. You just need to get the intalke piping out of the way on the one side. The coil pacs come off by taking out approx 6 bolts, unplug wiring harness connectors, and pull them right off.

NOTE:Pay attention to the coil pack wires as each one is numbered and you must put them back in the correct order.

Take out old plugs, put in new, put coil packs back on, button it up and you are done.

Good luck!

do I need some type of a flexi head extention to get to the plugs? or is a 4" or a 7" straight extention enough for the job on my 03 sedan, thanks

i guess i'll answer my own question, i went ahead with the spark plug change went with the NGK iridium and found it not to be that difficult, infact it took me about 2 hours, u do need a long straight extention over 7" as it will make your job easier, no flexi heads necessary and make sure your plug socket has a rubber inside, so it holds the plug in place as u pull it out.
