I have Intake-Plenum-headers-race pipes-exhaust and people recommended a tune be done on my car. Apparently this UNICHIP piggybacl ecu is already tuned for a G with my mods- but they want $900 for the chip then 100 for whatever else- someone help me...there has to be a better way.
With that short list of mods, I think a reflash of the ECU is probably a better bet. The Unichip is not a "chip" it's a computer and the dealers/authorized persons who can tune it are even now still limited.
If you are bound and determined to continue with a piggyback or other fuel management computer there are others you can look into HKS, UTEC, etc...

If you stay normally aspirated, this should be able to accomodate pretty much anything you can do. It's when you get into the forced induction arena and their higher flow rates and major boosting of fuel feed that you need to look into a fuel management computer.
The good thing about TS is if you need to reflash, they offer it at a reduced price. The bad thing is that they are in SoCal. If you have a good tuner in your area, you might want to go with a fuel management computer anyway.......just throwing out some options to you here.

i had my ecu reflashed with AAM software which is the 93 octane variant of technosquares program (the technosquare prog is 91 octane) and i have noticed impressive gains with my mods. i like, i would say its worth the $.

People on this site....saying i am going to blow my motor up because i'd be running dangerously lean
If you are running NA only changes, I seriously doubt you are going to kill your engine. The knock sensors and your ears will still give you enough of a warning to tell something is up. This isn't usually the case when you start force feeding boost.
