Lightbulb Rattling Doors

If anyone has rattling doors when playing music, I think I might have found one solution. My car doors rattled ever since I bought it and it has been driving me nuts. I finally took off the door panel and turned up the music. I found that the three bolts with large washers around them were all loose and rattling. I just put a quick tighten on them and the rattling went away. Now for the other door. Hope this helps!

For the G, it is really easy to take the panels off. You don't have to worry about removing the sail panel with tweeter, just take out the screw by the door release handle under the piece of plastic, remove the aluminum (wood) trim piece on the big handle with a flat head and remove the two phillips under that. Then it is just a matter of popping the door off from the bottom up by pulling the plastic away from the metal door.

That's important because Smoke needs to know how many screws he's got loose.

Yeah, the one that you use to close the door. Yours is probably aluminum. Just pop it off with a flat head. you'll see a screw at the top and bott of the trim piece. Make sure to take off the piece from the rear forward.

you might also check the speaker grills for any movement.... mine had some stuffed a peice of stiff foam under the edges on the inside of the door to stop the movement.

After my sub install I would get door rattles under certain frequencies. My quick solution was to pop off the window controls (fairly simple, slip a credit card under one corner and pull up) and jammed some foam around the inside of both doors.
