i have a similar problem but not sure if its in the door or from the belt, might just take it to the dealer ! would they charge for checking something like this ?
first time poster..just bought my g35 coupe last thursday..same issue..hearing rattles inside door..sometimes passenger, but past few days the driver's side. guess i'll be opening up the door unless i should just take it in for warranty work..car only has 13k miles and is an '06. temporary solution is to turn up the stereo..
not related, but a definite tire issue i have..i think. i hear a slight roar, feel a little vibration whever in a sweeping right turn at speed, but none of that to the left. i'm guessing it's a tire issue. maybe with 19's, tire rotation/balancing is more critical. i understand i can't simply rotate fronts side to side, but wondering about removing tires from rims (insides now out) and rotating that way. sorry for the slight hijack here..i'll post a separate thread later.
The rattling issue on your windows is coming from the glass it self. bring it in to the dealer and they will fix it for you. I had that problem but I have an 03Coupe. about the tires, I think you have a directional tires right? not sure but if you do i won't suggest you to rotate them cause it's not possible. waste of time and money...

Dude, if you are gettin sound on the one side with vibration (sound like it coming from the wheel itself), and its like a roaring sound not metallic, it might be the bearings, I had the same sound coming only on left turns and got it checked yesterday by the dealer. Bearing they will replace them on the 4th of August. The dealer will also fix the driver side window rattling noise and I have the passenger side speaker vibrating at times which annoys the hell out of me it would also be fixed (that’s what the dealer says). The last problem I had with my car was the clutch stuck half way and the burring smell coming from the clutch. That i think they would have to replace the master cylinder but not sure. I will know on August 4th what they did.
I get kind of a buzz sound from around the tweeter in the door on my coupe from time to time. The dealer replaced the tweeter (it was blown/scratchy), but the vibration noise is still there sometimes even with the radio off.
Is this the rattle y'all are talking about or am I getting something different?

mine is definitely something that has loosened..the description i heard from another of finding some bolts that required tightening inside the door panel is what i expect to find. it isn't my window..it does it window up or down, and i don't normally hear it until the speed's up to around 40 mph..must take a little speed to get the loosened tolerance to vibrate/rattle. i've only owned the car less than a week..hate to already be tearing into a door. i may introduce myself to my local dealer and let them find it..only 13k miles into the warranty..
Sometimes the dealer will fall back on an excuse of looking for rattles and squeaks under warranty being limited to the first 12 months or 12K miles. Give the dealer a call first.
Sometimes it's easier just to DIY on some of the little things.

^^ true, I asked my dealer and they said they will have a look, if they cant fix it .. then i will do it myself.
the buzzing noise is from the speaker pannel on the passanger side .. the window has a rattling noise from driver's side. the speaker pannel would virbrate and buss even if the radio is off .. if someone puts a hand on the passanger side pannel it stops ... !
I hope they fix it on tuesday

mine likely began the rattle after rolling over 12k miles.. my '06 was a one-owner, leased 10/06..then an accident reported 1/07..only one shown on carfax report..airbag was not deployed. before buying, i did note evidence that the all three panels on the driver's side were re-sprayed..believe there was some body work in the rear quarter, possibly front quarter, not sure if door panel necessitated. anyway, re-spray was inferior to original factory spray, but fine to the untrained eye..i know how to feel for paint lines at the edges of a panel to confirm. perhaps something became loosened in a 'side swiping' kind of accident and that's what i'm hearing. i'll decide soon whether to let the dealer look or do myself..i've owned cars for over 25 years, so i definitely relate to not going to the dealer unless absolutely necessary. thanks for the input, guys..
i had similar issues with door panels on my 06 6mt coupe.
i've pulled the passenger door panel off and filled the gaps on the backside between the speaker grill and the silver ring on the backside with clear silicone sealant.
i found that the speaker grill alone can vibrate annoyingly.
also i put some silicone sealant under the reflector at the bottom corner of the door panel to hold it still... it also moves.
no more noise from the passenger panel, drivers side was fine but now i find that i'll be needed to do this to the drivers side as well.

yeah i went to the dealership and they said it will cost me as its only covered until first 3 years ... or somethin like that ...!
after driving 8 hours yesterday, my rattles occur at different speeds..probably correlating with certain 'vibration frequencies'. i'm hearing them intermittently on both sides, including the side that was never damaged. so, i'm starting to think this is just a function of the assembly..maybe most all of these cars experience some rattle..or maybe my assemblers were just hungover that day..
yeah and the dealer told me, my woofer is at too much base and what not .. and they couldnt hear any rattling .. !!! so they didnt fix it (bunch of lazy @$$ *&#$%#$%) I will do it myself sometime
Rise_Avessar, if you post up some pics, and how you opened the door assembly, that would be awesome, I have checked an article on 350ztech but its not very clear.
anyway ... dealers arent that good at fixing these things
