And if you had gotten the clear bra when the car was new, you could be like me and have rock chips ABOVE the clear bra! Man what crappy paint!

[quote=Yzfr1]if you want a quick fix, look at www.langka.com. if you want a cheaper solution, look for something called paint surface leveler or somethign at your local auto store. that's what i use, it does the same thing as langka but for $2. the site will have good info but what it does is: you put a tiny bit of touch up paint over the chip, let it dry, then put a tiny bit of the surface leveler on a rag, and wipe over it once or twice - it takes the excess touch up paint off so only the paint in the actual chip is left. looks pretty clean.[quote]

that is what i think im going to do. get the chips cleaned up for Spring Break nationals first week of may

When my buddy bought his TSX, the dealer gave him some touch up paint, and told him if he gets a chip, to apply a little bit with a toothpick, wipe it, off and repeat, building up layers. This makes sense, and should be better than just squirting the paint in there. Or use YZ's suggestion. Good luck

if you can't, you'll never be able to really enjoy the car. now that i've come to grips with it, i'm a lot more liberal on the highway with her. i don't have any in the hood or mirrors, so if all i have to do is buy a new bumper, i'm cool with that.
