I know a lot of guys have been hesitant to drill into the front bumper to install the front license plate...As much as it sucks..DO IT... Here's why...
Buddy of mine has a '02 Vette here in IL and he has totally ignored the front plate thing for 2 years and prefers no front plate on his Vette...Friday night on the way home from a night out of drinking and carousing, he finds himself at one of those handy-dandy "Checkpoints"...He thinks he's OK because all his paper work's in order...WRONG...Cop has him pull over to the side, because of NO FRONT PLATE!! Of course one thing leads to another and they (Cops) do a field sobriety test...Bingo!! .09 (He says he had three beers!, not exactly ripped!)in a .08 state, now he's looking at a DUI all over a stupid license plate which started the cops to ask questions...Just not worth it...[V]
your tottally right, but people with coupes, i suggest you register your car in another state that does not require you to have two plates.. OR register it in a state that does require two plates.. (state other than yours because in your state they cannot give you a ticket for missing one plate cause its diffrent states)...

I beg to differ; the moral of that story is don't drink and drive.

[werd] and register your car legally. Anything else is fraud.
I totaly agree with MOFO...Never give the cops a reason to pull you over. .09 isn't much at all, theres been mornings after drinking that I've felt like more than a .09. Or maybe 2 or 3 beers with dinner. You could be driving perfect, but any little reason for a cop to pull your over could get you totaly SCREWED! If you NEVER drive after a couple beers, and you don't mind a tickets, go ahead.

Here is the fix to your problem if you require to have a front plate. I would drill into the bumper myself. You can remove this pretty easy. http://strictlyz.com/customer/produc...6ed3ff9b20e44a
Not sure how good is it but I'm sure it's better then drilling in your bumper. I'm thinking about ordering on because TX requires them. If it's not strong enough, I mod it.

Here we go again.... [banghead]

Really, what a loser, telling people they should register their car in a different state than they live. And you pretend to be a law man.
Bizz, you make me sick! Break any law you see fit.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but Isnt $60 a little steep for a license plate holder?
<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></blockquote id="quote"></font id="quote">
Sav. How about $60 for a holder or holds on a $200-$300 bumper?
You can remove it anytime. It's placed on the square cutout on the bumper.
How does that cut out come off anyway?

Ernie it's easy to remove that part. Check your manual. It shows a flat headed screw driver with a piece of cloth to protect the paint. There should be a small "cut out" looking edge. If you look really close you'll see what I'm talking about.
