Default Rattling noise from center console/ clock

Does anyone know how to fix the rattling noise coming from the clock area (on the 05 model)?? i brought it back to the deal TWICE and they werent able to fix it. All they did was put felt tape around it which did absolutely nothing. I was able to fix i temporarily by putting a small piece of plastic between in the crack between the clock and setting... but the noise would come back again after a while. Please help! Thanks.

I always thought it was the clock, but it is the rear view mirror in my case. Make sure it's the clock and not the rear view mirror next time you hear the noises.

If you drive fast enough, the higher vibration frequency will reduce the rattling noise.
