2nd gear....low rpm

so when i'm in 2nd gear at around 1-1500 rpm...and i step on the throttle (not flooring) i hear a clanking clinging noise....i've read that this is normal because the rpm is just low and all the torque or whatever...this noise does not happen at 2000 rpm+.....i'm i just being paranoid or is there something wrong? thanks guys.

when the rpms run a bit low, the engine gets a bit shakey...the noise you are experienceing may be from the virbrations. I have a little bit of tranny noise at low rpms as well, but it all goes away round 1.5 - 2k. Otherwise, take it to your dealer and talk to the TECHNITIANS about the noise, as (most) salesmen dont know sheit about engines

Try this, shift gear to 2nd and let the rpm drop and depress the clutch, if you can duplicate the noise then I have the same thing. It's normal from what the dealership told me, something about the duel mass flywheel. Anyways, don't worry too much when you get used to it you'll know how to advoid the noise.
