Default My wait is finally over...Impul Bumper, Gialla Grille *PICS*

I think GZire has been about as impatient has I have, so this one's for you, bud.

Here's a teaser:

And here's the rest of the Gallery.

Couple things I still need to do though:

1. No instructions came for wiring up the fog light harnesses so they aren't connected right now. Anyone who has a set of instructions (preferably in English), or knows how they're supposed to be wired, or know of a good shop in Southern California who can figure it out, please let me know.

2. Need to paint the vertical bar behind the grille mesh to black. It stands out a little too much IMHO. I also want to put an infiniti emblem there, but am worried that it won't stick well on the mesh. Any ideas?

3. And finally, I need to find a better license plate holder. I hate how the black shows behind the chrome plate frame. I actually hate that there is a plate at all, but the Impul is designed to have a plate, so it would have looked weirder without one.

surprisingly, i like it.

it does remind me of a MB tho.. something with those foglights and those strips - reminds me of Mercedes a lot.

1. Bug the crap out of Andrew for some directions or wiring diagram.

2. Something as simple as a Krylon paint job should work out for the vertical piece. I think you could epoxy SS stud bolts in back of the Infiniti emblem and drill through the vertical piece to secure.

3. Have a machine shop custom fab a SS thin gauge plate as a license plate backing plate.

Looks good man.......it's about time. Now when are you going to get side skirts?

Thanks guys.

Sleeper, the whole thing set me back just a little under $2500.

msb3079, I agree the fogs make it look more european. I actually did not clean the tires before shooting. If you look closely at the color shots, you'll notice that it's actually the lighter-colored dirt hehehe. In that location, it would have been a major pain to clean. But the lighter value worked out great for the B&W shots.

beanie, YOU'RE badass! don't forget to ask your paint guy to do the vert bar in black.

andy2434, thanks!

GZ, thanks for the info. I have already called and emailed bulletproof. Hopefully they can get me something. And damn...I do wish I got the full kit (minus the spoiler) now. gah.

BreaKaoss, It's amazing to me how much better some of those pics look in B&W. I sorta rushed through taking those pictures and wasn't completely thrilled with how the color ones came out, so I converted them.

Bulletproof Automotive is a half-assed company. Period.
I'd watch where you put your money.

I really like the look of that bumper especially with the grille installed. The wiring for the fogs is not that hard...you can tap into the wires coming out of the headlight and hook them up to your fogs so that they will come on independently of your headlights...just tap the ignition wire into that one and ground it, don't forget to run the power to either the fuse box or battery...any stereo shop can do that install for you...

The kit actually came with a seperate switch that goes nicely into the dash (or rather, the open spot underneath the trunk release switch), and a whole bunch of harnesses. I'm pretty sure it's fairly simple to do, but I just don't know what plugs into where? The body shop guys thought they could do it, but they couldn't figure it out either.
