Default Speed Television Sucks!!! - GTO vs. G35 and ....

I just witnessed a 30 min GTO DIS-infomercial

They suggested the GTO handles better than the G35 in any measurable cornering test

G35 posted a 0-60 time of 7.5 and a 15.5 1/4 mile

Road and Track not my favorite mag and one which IMO tends to be a little sponsor/American car biased posts times far different

I invite any GTO to follow me in my 05 G35 A/T Sereng Sand sport suspension G-String in the GA mountains (hills) but I suggest a chase vehicle with a good cel phone to call for helicopter evac of their GTO driving friend as they exit the road at speed and end up in a farmers field or trees.

GTO = Straight line

G35 = Overall performance and class

GTO - Kiss my A..

G-String

Those times the claim for the G is way off anyway the GTO has the corvette motor just heavier and untill 05 the had 350 HP and I know the C5 corvettes with the same HP go 0-60 in 4.8 sec so a GTO which is around 3700 pounds i think was claiming 5.2 which is not far off from the G.

Plus the G will out perform the GTO any day of the week in cornering over the GTO and pretty much any American car out there, let me drive my G against there GTO id show em up.

Like you guys said .. It's only good for straight line..
You can get a GTO for ynder $30K with their "we can't move our cars.. employee discount".. best HP/$ can buy..
BUT.. looks, luxury.. handling is no match for the G..

I would like to test drive the Goat though, just to get an idea of how it drives... you know, whether it's more like a Vette or a Grand AM
(which it kinda looks like anyway)

wasn't this a 3-way comparison? how did the other car do? (can't remember what car it was...)

Was it off as much as the numbers for the G? I wanted to catch this comparison too, but kinda glad i didn't now. 7.5 and 15+ secs? Maybe the test driver wan't familiar with the "REV" light and the "Rev" indicator was set at 4500 RPM... and the guy thought that was the redline?
