Hey guys im new to the forum, doing my research on the g35 coupe. I know that the car is great and im about to start shopping around for 1. I dont want to be ripped off at the dealership, so the more info i have the better i would be. Options that i want on it Prem package, sports suspention, aero kit.
It would help a lot if you can share your info of what you pay a month, down payment, length of lease, options you got and other things that i missed.
I paid cash for mine, 36.5k not including title and registration.
The car was on the lot when I bought it, so I didn't have to order it.
It's a 2004.5 6-Speed with Premium, Nav, Aero package, Cargo-convenience package, and trunk mat, in Diamond Graphite.
The 2005's went up in price slightly.

2004 - they wanted 37,800...I talked em down to 35,200 or something like that...downpayment was around 2-3K and I pay 580.00 a month from credit union 5.25%.
The big thing is talk them down and make sure to go by payment instead of just saying oh, nice interest rate...Infiniti said they would give me 4.75% interest but after I saw all the hidden fees in the final monthly payment...I stood up and said "this deal is bunk!".

But don't start talking monthly payment until AFTER you get the price of the car down. Once the price of the car is as low as it can get, if you have a good loan (not like the one LC talked about) the payments will take care of themselves. If you go in talking about payments, the salesman will just start fooling witht the numbers to make you pay a less a month for a more expensive car. He won't really be trying to find a way for you to pay less for the car.
I got a 04 new off the lot in march for 32,400 plus tax with nothing down and 2.9% it is 6mt with every option except navigation and sat radio. Love the car and it is looking like I got a pretty good deal after reading some of the other post. Best tip I have is go at the end of the month, the dealers are looking to unload their lot stock at this time as not to have to pay their own note on the car. I also got my tag at my parents house as to save 2.5% on sales tax. ( about 900 bucks) Good luck.

this is VERY true...
edit...did you just "bag" on my loan Jerm???
No, the "not the one LC described" loan I was talking about was the crappy one Infiniti tried to give you. I got my loan through a Credit Union, too. You will almost ALWAYS get a better deal through them. What my post was triyng to emphasize was not to put the cart before the horse, otherwise you will just shoot yourself in the foot.
VPP (my dad is parts and service manager for a dealership in KY. He's worked there for 30-35 years so I got one of the top VPP levels) plus a loan through the Credit Union in CA I've belonged to since high school. I paid less than sticker out the door.
wow you guys got some good deals. I got my 05 coupe with prem pkg, aero kit with spoiler, chrome OEM 19's, basically everything except the navigation sys out the door for $40,500 and I put $15,000 down so I my payments are $505 for 60 months, but I will be paying my car off within 1 year.

Out the door for a 2005 6mt was around $43,000. The awesome part is i put $12,000 down and am paying $500 a month for 66 months at 4.39%, no prepayment penalty and i can pay down the principle any time i want. It sucks buying these things in SoCal since they are so popular.
