I'm interested in knowing if any G Owners are going to show up to the NY Auto Show March 27th. I heard Evo-NY is going to be there with about 50 Evos. Other clubs like Subaru, IS300, Golf, BMW, etc. etc. are going to show up real "deep" if you know what I mean. I really didn't want to be the only G35 there representing. Wassup people?
I'm still going, but I've decided to just take the bus. I heard parking over there is going to be almost impossible. All those car clubs showing up is going to be crazy. I'll be better off with the bus and not worry about finding parking or anything happening to my car
Buddy of mine with this G on the boards may go...but I'm certainly not taking my car into the city so i can have my exhaust ripped off by the streets and such. Personally if I had your cars I wouldnt bring it to that area. Just too many opportunities for it to get messed up.

The only time I enjoy driving in the city is when I borrow my dads suburban. Its the only vehicle I have used where the cabs think twice before cutting you off and the morons crossing the streets actually stop and jump back onto the sidewalk when they see me coming at them doing 40 . I'll only take my G as a last resort and pay the $30 parking.

LoL, I understand where you're coming from. I still have yet to take my G 2 the city and from all the comments, I don't think my G would see it anytime soon Btw, where in Jersey are you from?
i drove mine in philly last week. driving in the city is actually really fun especially with the moonroof open - the city lights and the windows down - to hear the exhaust echo off all the buildings.
but i wouldn't want to go often and be parking my G on the city streets... definately not.

Maybe when it gets a lil warmer out I'll do the same. It isn't that nice out, even though it's getting nicer as we speak which is a real good thing.
yea, im going to ny to visit friends and go shopping (lol) on friday. DEFINATLY hitting up that show...not sure what day, most likely saturday, since the drive is a good 8 hours. I want to see that new 3-series and the new Audis. Last year they had all the nissans BUT the new SKYLINE, they better have that shit! about the parking...hahaHA i wouldnt park within a mile of the Javitz Center...its really...whats the word...*crowed* and yeh, people tend to be careless. I'll be parking next to my friend's appartment on madison.
