If I were looking for a limo class lux, and I didn't want to move into the Bentley/Rolls/Maybach world, I think this would be it.

Great lookin car, although i think selling issues will arrise when customers see it only has two seats in the back, and the rest of the competition seats 3 back there. I dont see this competting with the Maybach, anyone know the price this will take to get one.

Low six figures. It's not even on the same planet as the Maybach. It's competition is BMW and Mercedes, not Maybach, Bentley and Rolls.

The current A8 starts at (only) $70K.

You know what I drive. Pictures.

Either the people in the photos are freakishly tall or there is not much headroom. I absolutely hate the front of the vehicle (new Audi family grill) but other than that very nice. Probably the same price as the VW with the W12 engine ($95k).

I think the next MB S-class will kill everything in the luxo class for looks.

I didn't really notice it, but you're right. There doesn't appear to be much room for a car in this class.

If they really want a good selling point, they would have had that honey in the back seat laying down. []

Just think - for a few grand less you could have the VW version of this car that's vastly heavier and slower (all-steel instead of the Audi's all-aluminium). What is VW thinking with the silly Phaeton?

I think it's about time for Audi to move on for a change. All Audi's have been looking the same for the last 4 years and so...If I buy any thing form that class of cars, it would be the BMW 745...it's bad ass
