When you test drove the Honda Accord, Toyota Camry and others in their class, and compared them to the G35 Coupe, why did you choose the Coupe? It has excessive power, over and above what is necessary to drive the speed limit... Get the point?
Audio enthusiasts who appreciate good clean sound, are much like Automobile enthusiasts who appreciate sleek, powerful cars. To an audio enthusiast, a subwoofer is the only way to reproduce sounds within the full audio spectrum. Granted there are still limitations with the standard head unit, but if done right, you can achieve a solid low end.
Sorry if this sounds rude, but please don't assume that Hip-Hop is the only type of music that requires a sub. Jazz, R&B, Classical and others are tremendously enhanced with true sub-bass.
