No, it's your money you can do with as you please. People do it all the time, they get hit, the other guy's insurance pays out and the pocket the money driving a beat up car.
I got $900 from someone who backed into my wife's car, didn't fix a damn thing.
You can pocket the money and drive off the lot on your rotors if you want, not that I'm recommending that!
