i think the vids they had with the two going around the track was more telling than the article. the G37 seemed more composed around and exiting the corners while the 335i did a little bit of tail wagging. plus they pointed out that "neither one was pulling away from the other"....throw into the fact that the 335i was several thousand dollars more and "quit" after 4 laps, the prize went to the G37S...
that being said the 335i is a great car, not as confident around corners like an E46 M3 but it sure does drive very well.
