That's a skewed view gamma. In my case guys with hangovers are just as bad as being drunk at work. They are tired, they are dehydrated (Hawaii sun & humidity) and are more prone to physical effects because of this (heat exhaustion, heat stroke, headaches, etc.). They have a hard time concentrating on what they are supposed to be doing. They can walk in back of moving equipment, walk under suspended loads, not look where they are going (slip, trip, fall, etc. hazards).
I can go on and on. In my line of work it's really bad for druggies to be working in the industry.
