I would not recomend that anyone get anything installed at any Best Buy. They hire kids that don't even know how to use a screwdriver!
While I was there I saw (from other install bays in the state) cars that caught fire due to remote starters installed wrong, screws through hoods, screws through roofs (that were covered up with butyl!), batteries fried, interior trim pieces destroyed, rats nest wiring, etc.
The most memorable car that I had to fix was a lime green 87 Grand Am with shaved door handles and a white rag top. His remote start was installed by another BB a few years prior and all of a sudden everything stopped working (door poppers, sunroof, power windows, trunk pop, remote start, alarm). Whoever installed it just shoved a mess of wires under the dash and left it shorting everything out. I had to remove the remote start (everything was attached to it)and rewire everything from the firewall back to the trunk. It was insane! It took me a week to get everything straightened out (40 work hours) and the kid didn't pay a dime for anything because BB warrenties its labor and products!
