It got me to thinking about options, I had noticed there's not too much choice on the G37. So I went to build a 335 online and wow... 14 paint color options, 7 interior color options, 4 trim material options and 6 different wheel choices!? I think the G37 has something like 6 paint colors, black or tan interior, wood or brushed aluminum trim and only the one set of wheels available.

Preference, taste, performance and price aside. When it comes down to G37 compared to 335i, the bimmer wins out because of options.

You also get a base engin 3 series that will outperform the old M3 for 45k.
