i saw a show the other day that analyzed the rodney king beating and they showed extended footage that really changed my perspective on it.
before the beating, they tried to get rodney down on the ground to cuff him and he would not lay down, he kept getting up, pushing and grabbing at the officers. it went on for some time before they started using their batons.

Moving on... this case right here... they knew he wasn't brandishing a weapon or they would have dropped him from jump... & even if i give them the benefit of the doubt, & say they didn't know... is it really necessary to shoot someone in the back 8 times?? What ever happened to only as much force as is needed??
