With signing of Kimi imminent (at least so it seems), there's increasing pressure for Michael to tmake an decision he was probably not ready to make just yet. Michael knows well it would not be in his favor or preference to have Kimi in a team that believes in only
one driver. He (Michael) may not lack any of the skills or experience to take that #1 spot, but the lack of youth (viability for the long term investment) is a far more influential game stopper.
I have heard of the 3 car team rumor for next year. It'd be a long shot imo, but you never know. This is after all F1.
I think Michael will retire.
