Steel brake lines will not help the touchyness of your brakes. It will just make the pedal much more stiff. The pads are the problem. Get some good aftermarket pads and you will be much happier. Plus they will last about 4x longer than the stocks.
Brembo will work on the G35 Sedan. You just need to make sure you get the rotors, lines, calipers, pads, caliper mounts that go with it.
