WOW...you guys definitely provide me with more information than the internet did on the searches I tried. Thank you.
Everything is cool now. And let me clarify a few things. My friend that got arrested... the driver, he didn't blame. Never did- he took the full responsiblity for his actions. If anything, his first concern was me. I kinda woke up when he got pulled over ...instead of worrying about being pulled over, he told me kindly to go back to sleep! Of I couldn't.
But he was how MSB described his situation...he was "sober"...but his BAC was .13- which is definitely over the limit. I spend the whole sat worrying but then he got released. The cops were being cool about it. When they decided to arrest him, he asked them for 2 favors, one was to take care of me and the 2nd to not tow his car; both of which they went out of their way to do.
And I will not defend what he did...and he has taken responsiblity for what he did. He said he had speeded to cut someone who cut him off...admit that it was stupid and he deserved what he got. He took it pretty well... accepted it and dealt with it- laughed at me for crying about it. But I was just upset because I kept feeling like I could of prevent it if I wasn't asleep or something.
And the one that yelled at me and blamed me. He got a mouthful the next day when I was "better" That guy was a friend of my friend. My friend also told him to chill out and that I had nothing to do with it. I'm extremely happy right now cuz all of this "nightmare" is over.
That was the only thorn in my vacation. When he finally got release, I felt like a burden was lifted off my heart. Prior to that I just couldn't think of continuing my vacation when my friend was still in jail...but after that I was fine and today is my last day here but I'm contend- I saw some of the most beautiful places I've ever seen but I'll save that for a different thread.
