I find it a bit weird that you weren't the designated driver and this guy drives drunk on the road at night while you were asleep in the car, speeding nonetheless... and he has the gall to blame you for the situation, especially considering that you were drunk and probably not in any state to be expected to intelligibly control the situation?
The guy is an adult, makes a decision to drive drunk and speed at the same time... and endanger your life and your friends lives, and somehow you are at fault for this?
Am I missing part of the story?... if anything, you should be mad at him, not him at you.
