lol, forgot to put in the "disclaimer" part of my post. before this gets out of hand...

i do this in the gated private parking lot at work when it rains and when it is empty when everyone goes home. the lot is long enough to do about an 1/8 mile drag and wide enough to spin out and not hit the walls of the gates/building. and its code entry only so no uninvited guests can come in and ruin my fun. i usually just do some basic stuff...i did some launching, just to see how well the car/tires catch before it starts to peel out and fish tail. i also did some hard braking to see how long it takes to come to a complete stop on wet surfaces. then i did some cornering...first using the heel-toe method to kinda see if i can actually corner well like that in the rain, then i tried pulling the e-brake (slow speeds first) to see what the breaking point is before i spin out. and some misc. other stuff just to get used to the extreme situations in my car. this being my first daily driven rwd car i'm trying to get used to the different aspects of it compared to my other fwd car.

anyways, that was the "don't try this at home" disclaimer for the kids. lol
