When I was 19 in San Francisco, I had 2 vintage 1969 911's a new 1990 Honda Pacific Coast Motorcycle (800cc v-twin) and a new 1989 Buick Regal Gran Sport.
Around all of the new stuff, I had some cool older cars, countless Audis and VWs and Porsches
At 28 I bought my 2nd new car a 1998 Chrysler Sebring JXI Convertible
At 31 I bought my mom a 2001 Toyota Camry LE
At 32 I bought my 3rd new car a 2003 G356MT Sedan
At 33 my 4th and 5th new were my 04 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and my 03 Honda Gold Wing
At 34 my 6th and 7th new car a 2004 Porsche Boxster and a 2004 Santa Fe for the fiancee
At 35 my 8th new car, another Infiniti an 04 6MT Coupe.
the 4th, 5th, 7th, and 8th are still in the garage.
When I graduate UAB (at 39 years old) is when I will buy a new red 911 S as a present to myself (keeping a G at the house of course).
There are plenty of successful people in the world that do not have a degree. Its all in how you apply yourself and steer clear of the haters and dream killers. Set up goals on where you want to be in life and reverse engineer several ways to get there.
(for the young guys...) Take care of your credit and it will take care of you. Keep the credit card debt below 50% of your limit, this keeps your FICO score from taking a big hit.
