Yeah, the lap belt tends to ride an inch higher than I would prefer, but it isn't anything that's going to cause me harm in a wreck, IMO. By the time I slam forward against the belt either my hipbones will keep it from cutting me in half or, even if it hops up over them, the airbag will be there to put an end to forward motion. Oh, my wife found the edge of the belt rode against her neck, so I had to cut up a sheepskin belt wrapper so it would fit on the belt by her neck and not hold the belt away from fully retracting when released.
