There are only three problems which are not really problems, but rather annoyances. The first is the brake dust, I knew you guys on the forums said there is a lot of brake dust, but just from my 20 miles of driving there is quite a bit, do I have to clean it every day in order for the rims to look nice? <hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></blockquote id="quote"></font id="quote">
I have had my G for 2 weeks 3 days so far... it feels so much longer than that. I am already find that much of the initial brake dust issue is dying down. I too was very concerned with the brake dust after the fist few miles. Now they are not as bad. Still worse than most cars though.

Second thing which is more concerning is a burning rubber smell from the engine compartment after I brought the car home. I immediately called up the dealer to find out what is going on and they said it is probably just some plastic in the engine bay and if the smell does not go away in a day or so, call them. Luckily there are no smells today. Finally, the car's engine fan is very loud if you are standing outside when you turn the car on, luckily inside it is quite so that is not a problem. I have noticed the engine seems to produce quite a bit more heat than my Acura TL, is this normal or should I be looking out for anything?<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></blockquote id="quote"></font id="quote">
As fo smells and sounds; the smells are the oils in the exhaust system which line the metal piping after construction. People find the same smells when they return from Midus with their new muffler on their 82 Culass, so nothing to worry about. The fan is lound, but also nothing too big.

Drive it, Love it, Welcome to the family.
